My Entrepreneurship Journey Began When I Was Only 15 Years Old!

And I haven't looked back since.

The freedom that comes with entrepreneurship is the only option that works for my season of homeschooling my children. It allows me  flexibility to travel, slow down, be mom more, and make time for what matters.

My business journey has taken me from BRICK to CLICK and back again. I have experience running in person service based brick and mortar  businesses for over a decade of my life.  I also have experience shifting that service based in person business to an online digital membership.

My passion now during this season of full time motherhood is a blend of the two sources of income.  The beauty of entrepreneurship is that you have the freedom to shift when seasons shift.  You can build something around your interest, your season, and your goals.

I made you a FREE GIFT and I'd love to share it with you. Inside you will hear a bit more of my business journey  and learn the first steps you need to take to begin yours!

SO WHAT'S ACTUALLY NEEDED TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS? I'M GLAD YOU ASKED!

1: Determination & Perseverance

No doubt a necessary component. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. I'll never forget the day I opened Soul Fitt (my previous fitness studio I ran for a decade). We started in a church basement because rent was....well FREE!  I had zero dollars, but I had a vision that I knew was from God. I was determined to persevere through.  And let me know tell you that in small business perseverance is required for much longer than many people are willing to persevere for.

In that small church,  I moved chairs every week night after working a full time day job.  I moved chairs and unloaded dumbbells and a stereo from the trunk of my car. I did that for a full year, before I was able to move up to a room I could rent and not have to lug my dumbbells around. I rented that small room for another year before I was able to get my very own studio space. 2 years in and the work was only just beginning. Perseverance is necessary.

Statistics show that nearly 1 out of 4 small business owners fail within their first year! By year 5 of business, that statistic goes up to 50%. Every 1 out of 2 businesses that open, end up closing by year 5. Only 35% of entrepreneurs make it past a decade.  I don't believe businesses fail for lack of passion or vision. I believe it is for lack of perseverance and determination.  If you've decided business is for you, you better have determination.

You downloaded my guide right?

Inside I'll share more of the blood, sweat, and tears required to make a business last longer than a decade. Without perseverance and determination, you should probably go ahead and hang up the entrepreneur hat. But with it, the sky is the limit!
